About the position
The Wedding Sales and Banquet Manager is responsible for overseeing the front of house staff, ensuring customer satisfaction during banquets, and managing sales activities to achieve targets. This role involves creating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), maintaining key account relationships, and conducting market research to identify new business opportunities. The manager will also provide training to the sales team and stay updated on industry trends.
Responsibilities
Schedule front of the house staff
Oversee front of the house staff to ensure proper setup and attentiveness to customer needs
Oversee all banquets to ensure customer satisfaction
Create all BEOs and manage payment collection
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
Manage and maintain relationships with key accounts
Identify new business opportunities and conduct market research
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sales strategies
Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and customer interactions
Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals
Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team
Stay updated on technology trends to promote products
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, preferably in a technical or technology-related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent account management and business development skills
