This is the foundation of a connected world flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of today and the future.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Capacity Planning Engineer will support the strategic planning and execution of network capacity initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement capacity planning strategies, optimize network performance, and contribute to the advancement of 5G and open RAN technologies.Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will:

Develop and implement capacity planning strategies across network domains, aligning with organizational goals.

Create an end-to-end capacity planning model to analyze traffic flow, forecasts, capacity limits, and breakpoints.

Design and execute capacity planning activities to optimize performance and meet demand.

Develop 5G open RAN capacity planning strategies, considering regional variations and market demands.

Develop algorithms and software tools for capacity planning to enhance decision-making.

Define RAN capacity thresholds with stakeholders to optimize resource utilization and reliability.

Skills, Experience and RequirementsAs a successful RAN Capacity Planning Engineer, you will have:Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Wireless Systems Engineering

8+ years of experience in end-to-end network planning and operational activities

Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of radio access technologies, wireless spectrum, and network architectures

Expertise in RAN, Core, IP Network, and cloud computing implementation

Understanding of network benchmarking approaches, automation techniques, and OSS systems

Proficiency in data analytics/business intelligence (PowerBI, Tableau) and AWS (Redshift, Athena, Quicksight, Cloud)

Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative skills in a cross-functional team environment

Experience with Python and advanced technologies like 5G NR, Open RAN, Virtual RAN, and Cloud RAN
