Helpdesk Specialists work on a team that provides front line Tier 1 technical support for our faculty and staff by responding to helpdesk tickets and answering our helpdesk phone line, as well as assisting on various IT related projects throughout the year.Search Contact [email protected] SummaryThe position is hourly and continues through the spring, summer, and fall semesters. Fall, winter, and summer breaks are encouraged but optional. Training is on the job. Schedule is flexible to accommodate classes and school-related activities. Operating hours are M-F, 8am-5pm. We are looking for applicants able to work between 10.0 and 35.0 hours per week.Position Minimum Qualifications

Applicant must have basic competency with computers (i.e., installing software, Microsoft Office, etc.) and a desire to increase their personal knowledge and skills in technology.

Applicant must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Applicant must be reliable and professional and have strong customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with computers in a corporate or business setting.

Experience with both windows and apple operating systems.
