Description We are in search of a dedicated Accounting Manager/Supervisor to work in our team. The position is within the accounting industry and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will be expected to manage financial processes, maintain accurate records, and utilize your skills in QuickBooks Enterprise to enhance our accounting operations.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes Handle and supervise all aspects of the financial processes Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise to streamline accounting functions and processes Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial information Manage the preparation and support of all external audits Coordinate and develop the implementation of accounting and administrative procedures to enhance the department's overall efficiency Resolve complex accounting issues and assist team members in resolving financial issues Oversee the accurate processing and recording of company's payroll Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.Requirements Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field A minimum of five years of experience in an accounting role, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise is essential Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proven experience in managing a team and excellent leadership skills Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment High level of accuracy and attention to detail Experience with financial reporting, tax audits, and budgeting processes Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
