Job Details

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as HVAC Lead. As HVAC Lead, you will be

responsible for the production and maintenance of the environmental control systems we design for our

custom A/V products. You will work directly with a team of engineers, helping to continuously improve our

processes and methods to meet the increasing demand for innovative solutions. This position will play a

significant role in our product development from concept to installation, while also identifying areas of

improvement. You will work with a team of in-house designers, engineers, and fabricators in a team

environment where input is welcome and encouraged. Candidates for this position must have at least 5

years of experience (10+ years in preferred) in HVAC maintenance and/or fabrication.

Responsibilities:

● Coordinate and perform daily production activities, including piping, wiring, charging, and testing

HVAC systems, to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and according to schedule.

● Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC

systems.

● Monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate stock

● Interact with clients to provide troubleshooting and maintenance tips

● Monitor production processes to maintain and improve quality standards

● Collaborate with in-house designers and engineers on new product development

● Prioritize safety compliance and adhere to all regulations regarding the conservation, recovery, and

recycling of refrigerants.

● Train new employees and provide ongoing support and guidance to the team

● Identify and present opportunities for design and process improvements

● Occasional (< 10%) travel for field service

Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience in HVAC and/or Refrigeration (HVAC certifications are a plus)

● In-depth knowledge of HVAC system components, production processes, maintenance

requirements, and complex troubleshooting techniques

● Proficient in electrical systems, refrigeration principles and cycles, and airflow principles

● Ability to read and interpret production drawings and schematics

● Familiarity with relevant codes and safety standards

● Ability to interact with clients professionally and provide excellent service
