Walls by Design Painting & Decorating is hiring a relationship-driven Business Development Rep to help us grow our presence in the North Denver Metro area — especially Broomfield, Northglenn, Westminster, and surrounding communities.

This isn’t a pushy sales job — it’s about being a connector, making the right introductions, and opening doors that lead to beautiful, high-end painting and decorating projects.

What You’ll Do

Visit at least 8 real estate offices per week.

Meet with at least 3 referral partners (Realtors, designers, other contractors or networking partners) for coffee or lunch each week (yes, it’s part of the job).

Pursue 2 major project opportunities each month (schools, HOAs, property managers, assisted living, etc.).

Represent Walls by Design at networking events, community gatherings, and industry functions. Be known, be seen, and be helpful.

Keep track of your activities and contacts in our CRM so we can celebrate your wins together.

What We Offer

Flexible schedule – 20-30 hours/week, some weeks more, some less. I will not micro-manage you. We just want results. Getting started will be the hardest part, and then it will get easier.like a snowball rolling downhill.

Base pay: $400/week ($20,800/year).

Plus…

$15 per office visit

$15 per coffee/lunch meeting

$100 per major sales attempt

Performance bonus:

0.5% of gross sales influenced at $750k+

1.0% at $1M+

1.5% at $1.5M+

2.0% at $2M+

We want this person making over $30/hr, and the more efficient you are and the better and connecting, the more you will make.

A natural connector who loves making introductions.

Maybe you’ve been a stay-at-home parent, in corporate sales (and hated the pressure), or recently got downsized — and now you’re ready to jump back in, want a flexible work schedule, and the opportunity to earn what you are worth. You’re organized enough to keep track of your follow-ups without being told twice.

You know how to work a room and make people remember you for all the right reasons.

You have some familiarity with the North Denver metro area — bonus if you’ve got experience in real estate, design, or property management.

This is NOT a sales role. You will not be estimating and closing. You will hand off relationships to the owner (now) or a dedicated salesperson (in the hopeful near future) for the detailed stuff.
