Walls by Design — Denver’s premier luxury painting company — is hiring a flexible, relationship-driven Business Development Rep to build a referral network of top-tier salons and stylists. You’ll introduce them to our exclusive referral program, help them earn commissions on jobs they refer, and in doing so, build your own long-term book of business.
This isn’t a cold sales job. Think of it like affiliate marketing for the real world — once you build the relationship, you get paid on every job they refer — for as long as you're with us.
Compensation & Earning Potential
Base Pay: $500/week (1099 contractor)
Commission: 2%–3% of project revenue
Higher commission for direct stylist referrals
Salon referrals earn you recurring payouts across their team
Uncapped commissions — the more you build, the more you earn
Residual income model — every active relationship continues to pay as long as you're under contract
Locked commission rates per partner — they’re yours once you bring them in
90-Day Performance Plan: You’ll aim for $100,000 in referred project value in your first 90 days (we’ll help you hit it)
Schedule & Flexibility
Minimum 30 hours/week – you manage your time
70% remote – work from home, coffee shops, or on the go
30% in-person – drop by salons, attend events, or meet stylists for coffee
No territory restrictions – build your network anywhere in the Denver metro, from Erie to Castle Rock
What You'll Do
Identify and connect with luxury salons and independent stylists
Introduce and enroll them in our referral program
Track referrals and maintain relationships
Submit weekly call logs and contact sheets
Manage your partner network through our CRM tools
What You Bring
Experience in sales, salons, beauty, wellness, or luxury service industries
A natural ability to connect with people and earn trust
Strong follow-through and time management
Self-motivation — this role grows as fast as you grow it
Your own car, phone, laptop, and internet (this is a true 1099 independent contractor role)
