The Schomburg Insurance Agency in Denver, CO is hiring an Agency Account Representative to join our growing team!

We are a full-service insurance agency offering personal and commercial insurance, life insurance and financial services. The Schomburg Agency team of professionals provides clients with the highest level of customer service. We are dedicated to our employees and are committed to their performance and development.

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated dynamic Agency Account Rep to join us. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our clients and team members.

Responsibilities:

1. Client engagement and agency support: (50%)

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients using written and verbal communication skills.

Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.

Assist clients with policy inquiries, changes, quoting and claim submissions.

Consistently provide prompt and accurate responses to all client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.

Ensure all written communication is clear and concise

Maintain a working knowledge of our agency's offerings and stay up to date as they change.

Maintain and update client records and policy information.

Periodically audit client records for accuracy.

Support and maintain new business and renewal business.

Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.

Assist in data entry and record-keeping tasks.

2. Producer: (50%)

Work closely with the team to meet marketing and sales goals.

Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell our products.

Develop leads, schedule appointments for appropriate services and follow up with customers proactively.

Use a customer-focused, needs based review process to advise clients about insurance options.

Qualifications and Skills:

Property and Casualty Insurance License

Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and time effectively to meet deadlines.

Successful experience as a proactive self-starter

Proven champion who embraces new technologies

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with one unpaid hour provided for lunch. Work is performed for eight hours per day.
