We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team! The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury litigation, from case inception through settlement or trial. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.Responsibilities:Conduct client intake interviews and gather necessary information to assess potential cases.Request and review medical records, police reports, and other documents relevant to each case.Organize and maintain case files and documents, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.Assist attorneys in preparing pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.Draft correspondence, demand letters, and settlement agreements.Coordinate depositions, hearings, and mediations, including scheduling and preparing witnesses.Communicate with clients, providing case updates and answering their questions.Maintain contact with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties involved in cases.Assist in trial preparation, including preparing trial exhibits and organizing trial binders.Perform legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.Requirements:Proven experience as a paralegal in personal injury law, with a strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in legal research and document management software.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Knowledge of local court rules and procedures.Associate's degree or certificate in paralegal studies preferred; Bachelor's degree a plus.Certification as a paralegal (e.g., CP or CLA) preferred.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Health insurance, retirement savings plans, and other benefits FULLY paid.Professional development opportunities.Positive and supportive work environment.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard torace, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.We consider all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
