Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil/Commercial Litigation Attorney to join a law firm in Denver, CO on a temporary basis. As a Civil/Commercial Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in civil/commercial litigation cases. Your primary focus will be on conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact cases
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Colorado
- Proven experience in civil or commercial litigation
- Strong knowledge of legal research methods and resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions
- Strong negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
