Full time Dental assistant needed for a busy two doctor practice with a great staff and amazing patients!
Our team treats primarily and we looking for someone who is friendly, professional and has good communication skills! This position requires a person who enjoys working in a positive environment and has the desire to help others through dental care.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience
- Dentrix /Dexis experience, but not a must
- Welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor- Assisting with composite fillings, amalgam fillings, crown preps, and some oral surgery, implant placement, and endo.
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials required
- Follow sterilization procedures for instruments as per regulations
- Sending and monitoring lab cases
- Taking alginate impressions and pouring models but mostly scanning for lab work
- Taking digital x-rays
- Sterilizing all instruments and treatment rooms
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental room
- Schedule appointments and assist with handoffs to the front office
- Maintain accurate patient records

Work Hours:
- No late evenings or weekends!
- Mondays - Thursday: 6:45 am – 3:30 pm
- Thursdays: 6:45 am - 12 pm
