Job Description: We're on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Line Cooks / Assistant Manager to join our culinary crew at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in Denver. As a Line Cook / AM, you'll play an essential role in the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality and timely preparation of our mouthwatering Hawaiian dishes.
Responsibilities:
Line Cook Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and cooking techniques.
- Ensure that food is cooked to perfection, maintaining taste, quality, and presentation.
- Monitor and maintain cooking equipment, such as grills, fryers, and stovetops.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with team members for efficient order preparation.
Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Hiring, Training and Development.
- Operations Management.
- Sales and Profitability Management.
- Marketing and Customer Service.
- Restaurant Safety and Security.
- Team Culture - Employee Morale.
Qualifications:
- 2 years previous experience as a Line Cook.
- 2 years previous experience as an Assistant Manager if preferred but not required.
- Passion for cooking and a desire to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
