We are seeking skilled Ground Support Equipment Mechanics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and servicing a variety of ground support vehicles including tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, and service vans. Tasks will include maintaining heavy equipment featuring hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, inspecting vehicles to determine repair needs, troubleshooting issues, scheduling periodic maintenance, and keeping a well-organized inventory and repair log. Ensuring a clean and safe repair shop environment is a key aspect of this role.Location: Denver International AirportJob Duties & Responsibilities:
Use hand and power tools to repair ground support vehicles and equipment used at the airport
Read and follow repair manuals for a various types of vehicles and equipment
Troubleshoot problems and issues with vehicles and machinery
Repair and services on tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, service vans and more
Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical heavy equipment machinery
Keep track of parts and tools inventory
Schedule periodic maintenance and maintain repair logs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop
Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
2+ years of relevant experience (i.e.: diesel mechanics, auto mechanics, maintenance technicians, etc.)
Proficient with hand and power tools
Mechanical repair skills
Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to work prolonged periods on vehicles and equipment
Pay: $28.50-33.50/HRPay to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market dataShifts Available:
1st shift (6AM - 2:30PM) - Tuesday to Saturday
2nd Shift (2PM-10:30PM) - Tuesday to Saturday
2nd Shift (2PM-10:30PM) - Sunday to Thursday
3rd Shift (10PM-6:30AM) - Tuesday to Saturday
3rd Shift (10PM-6:30AM) - Sunday to Thursday
