Civil Litigation Trial Paralegal

Description Robert Half is seeking a Trial Paralegal to join our client's team in the civil litigation space in Denver, Colorado. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, where you will be supporting the legal process by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and providing assistance to four attorneys. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing systems Gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation Use legal software such as Aderant and Adobe Acrobat to assist in the management of cases Manage calendars and meeting schedules for attorneys Handle communication with clients, witnesses etc. Support attorneys in court by handling administrative tasks Assist in the administration of claims Handle billing functions and maintain accurate financial recordsRequirements Minimum of 4+ years' experience as a Paralegal within the legal industry Proficient in Aderant and Adobe Acrobat software Experience in using the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) Familiarity with Case Management Software and CompuLaw Ability to perform Billing Functions accurately and efficiently Proficiency in drafting and Briefing legal documents Excellent Calendar Management skills Experience in Claim Administration and handling Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal Applicant must have the legal right to work in the job location Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge in the field of legal services Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Understanding of legal terminology and principles Bachelor's degree in law or related field preferred Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program of education and training, or an associate degree in paralegal studiesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
