MAINLINE OPERATOR
Mainline excavator operator must be able to read, understand and excavate varying elevations at an expert
level.
Can manage mass excavations with maximum efficiency.
2 years of experience with accurately and safely excavating around utilities.
Willing to contribute on the ground when needed to maintain site productivity.
Excavate trenches within OSHA standards.
Great attendance and worth ethic.
PIPELAYER
Lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains and water mains.
Prepare sites for excavation.
2 years of experience in underground utility construction preferred.
Familiarity with materials and methods.
Ability to communicate with other crew members.
Proficient in using pipe lasers and levels.
Great attendance and worth ethic.
Work in changing weather conditions
FOREMAN
Looking for responsible, motivated Foreman to join our team. The Foreman, in conjunction with the superintendents, will handle the day-to-day Sitework activities of the construction site and supervise on-site employees, meet with inspectors, meet with and manage sub-contractors, coordinate schedules, and maintain a well-organized construction site with a safety conscience attitude.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Determine sequence of installations by reading plans and coordination with Superintendent.
Supervise pipe crew in the safe installation and assembly of all aspects of underground pipe installation.
Perform field take-offs and jobsite material inventories
Inspect work in progress and completed work to insure conformance to specifications and local codes
Complete and maintain work site paperwork include, but not limited to, time off request forms, accident reports, material requisitions, RFI's, T & M tickets, daily logs, daily time card verification, weekly job site inspection forms.
Accountability for man hours and material costs
Great attendance and worth ethic.
Qualification Requirements:
Must be proficient operating several types of machinery.
Skills of pre-task planning and scheduling of manpower and material.
Minimum 3+ years experience supervising underground utility crews.
Ability to read and understand Civil plans.
Good verbal communication skills.
Team oriented with the ability to work well and communicate with others.
Demonstrate willingness to accept responsibility and leadership role.
Neat, professional appearance.
Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record; clean criminal back ground.
