We are a Colorado Springs utility construction company, searching for general laborer with valid drivers license.
The cities we work in are; Colorado Springs, Security Widefield, Fountain, Falcon, Payton, Back Forest, Monument, Pueblo.
The position is proposed to join an underground construction crew, drive and transport equipment.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs of weight.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be physically able to bend, kneel, pull or push.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
Must be able to read and write.
Must have the ability to follow directions
Main duties are typical general labor
Moving equipment (MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 250LBS )
Loading/unloading materials & equipment
Cleaning of trucks & shop
Set up of jobs, digging, staging materials, etc.
Learning to operate equipment and machinery
Cleanup of job sites
Preferred but not required:
Bilingual, English Spanish.
Position details:
This is a full-time position.
Payment is weekly with a two-week retainer
All training and equipment provided.
Work schedule - Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm.
Some weekends work
Overtime is paid and only limited by performance.
Weather delays during the week occasionally will require weekends to be worked.
Hours can vary with being a weather dependent job, average right now is 40-45+ hours per week. Summertime peak can bring hours to 50+.
