Widefield Area Wheelchair bound older male with cerebral palsy needs help. He has very limited mobility (can brush own teeth, feed self, write, etc.) but is sharp as a tack and he makes the job fun. We need you to be reliable, trustworthy and a TEAM PLAYER Raise reviews occur as needed. Paid time off accrues at 1 hr per 30 worked. Must pass background check, must have a valid DL, and be at least 18 years of age. Morning shifts 5 or 6 days a week and occasional evenings. Schedule is flexible. Perfect for someone who has school aged kiddos because you can come after you drop them off and be done in time to pick them up! What you can expect: You will be using a hoyer lift for transfers, providing occasional showers, following bowel and bladder management plan, assisting with self care (dressing, nail, hair and skin care), medication management, light meal prep, very light housekeeping and keeping up with his laundry. Minimum starting rate for this position is $16 - $20 an hour, but depends on experience. Private pay is optional. I am also looking for a backup who can be available in the event of an emergency. This position would be an on-call type position with no set schedule but the pay rate would be $20 to $25 an hour. Previous home health experience or CNA experience is extremely helpful but not a deal breaker. We will train the right person.
