Scientific Communications Senior Manager (Colorado Springs/Plymouth (MN)/San Diego)Reporting to the Head of Clinical and Medical Affairs, the Senior Manager, Scientific Communications will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of scientific publications and associated communications for targeted audiences.Your role:

Develop and implement a comprehensive global publication plan (including manuscripts, congress abstracts, symposium presentations and poster presentations) in collaboration and alignment with cross-functional teams.

Develop proposals to enhance and implement existing internal processes and practices.

Effectively translate scientific, clinical, market research and stakeholder interaction data into publication strategies, messaging, and tactical planning.

Communicate and collaborate with multiple functions across the organization, including clinical, marketing and sales and serve as a key project team member on cross-functional projects.

Support the planning and execution of scientific communication activities at key scientific congresses.

Seek and identify potential scientific interest for new KOL engagement activities. Have extensive interactions with KOLs and other relevant external parties.

Consolidate and communicate stakeholder competitive intelligence.

You're the right fit if:

You have a medical or scientific education (MD, PhD, or PharmD is strongly preferred); Cardiology background is preferred.

You have approximately 7+ years combination of clinical, industry and academic experience specifically as it pertains to Medical Science, Medical Communication, scientific publications in interventional cardiology or a cardiovascular-related field preferred. Experience with Class III Medical Devices is preferred.

You have experience with key aspects of clinical trial design and interpretation.

You have experience in supporting and managing key strategic and tactical execution for US and global publications, including drafting abstracts, manuscripts, and clinical trial data interpretation.

You have a demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical/medical device legal and regulatory requirements and the impact on development of scientific publications.

You have excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

You have excellent project management skills. You have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and set priorities in circumstances of conflicting requirements.

You are adept at forming and maintaining a collaborative work environment in and among cross functional teams.

You can respond appropriately to the needs of key stakeholders and manage expectations.

Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%)

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
