Come be a part of what makes us so special!The OpportunityAs a dedicated Quality Assurance/Quality Control Advisor Lead for Bank Financial Crimes, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining quality assurance/control programs which ensure policies, processes, and procedures are driven consistently, align with internal objectives, and stay in sync with external regulations. Leads the execution and delivery of results related to quality assurance assessments, studies, or initiatives to partners and recommends and develops action plans for success.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte, NC, Tampa, FL, or Colorado Spring, CO.Relocation assistance is not available for this position.What you'll do:

Finds opportunities, evaluates, and develops quality standards, measurements, and process improvements to ensure effective business solutions and alignment with internal practices and regulatory requirements.

Owns the development and execution of quality assurance/control programs and provides guidance related to program decisions.

Recommends and facilitates policy and procedural changes.

Owns the development and implementation of training programs, materials, and events to meet quality requirements, ensure compliance with legal standards, and alignment with CoSA and Enterprise strategy.

Serves as a primary resource for intensified issues of an unusual nature and may provide coaching to team members as needed.

Uses statistical methods to perform correlation analysis, and any other statistical analysis to validate trends, and see opportunities for improvement solutions.

Provides oversight of Quality Management governance and controls standards, such as KPIs.

Collaborates with key business partners in the development of the Quality automation and technology journey.

Drives the adoption and sustainment of changes within the organization in compliance with USAA’s Change Management methodology .

Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

8 years progressive operations or process experience in the financial services, insurance, or relevant industry.

4 years of quality assurance/control or quality improvement experience to include developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance/control/testing programs.

Proven extensive experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and influencing partner decisions on recommended strategies to remedy issues.

Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance trends, regulations, and best practices

Demonstrates critical thinking, influences through subject matter expertise, provides root cause analysis for applicable business issues, and approaches work with a results and production oriented approach.

Knowledge of federal laws, rules, regulations, and applicable guidance to include: UDAAP, TILA/REG Z, BSA/AML, Reg P, Reg E, Reg CC, OCC Heightened Standards.

What sets you apart:

US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner.

8 years of experience in Bank Financial Crimes including, but not limited to Fraud Detection, Investigations, or Recovery Operations, Regulation E/Z Disputes, Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

8 years of experience in Root Cause Analysis, Strategic Planning, and Agile Concepts.

Proficient knowledge in analyzing data and developing reports that support analysis conclusion.

Uses proficient knowledge to provide guidance in the design, assessment, implementation and/or administration of moderately sophisticated quality assurance/control programs, practices, and policies.

Identifies and evaluates quality standards, measurements, and process improvements to ensure they are aligned with internal practices and regulatory requirements.

Administers quality assurance/control programs and communicates quality program decisions.

Briefs key partners and management on quality assurance/control review results, trends, studies, and initiatives, and recommends courses of action.

Identifies issues and provides timely partner concern to appropriate business leaders

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
