If so, we are seeking a detail-oriented contract professional to join our Network Transport Services (NTS) team within the Operations Division. In this role, your key focus will be negotiating, executing, and administering telecommunications and service contracts.Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, training, and technical guidance to employees engaged in contract-oriented work related to telecommunication contracts

Prepare contract documentation related to telecommunications, manage contract methods and processes, and monitor contract procedures

Provide solutions and resolution to contract problems, disputes, or claims by analyzing and interpreting contract documents/terms and conditions

Participate in contract negotiations with legal counsel

Assess contractor performance to identify the need for amendments to existing contracts

Apply contract terms and conditions including creating Notices related to the contract default

Initiate project requests through GEP (CONNECT)

Process work change directives for contracts related to capital projects

Create Purchase Requisitions in Maximo

Analyze data and assess possible alternatives to reach conclusions and manage risk

Develop effective relationships by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, which will include facilitating meetings and conducting business needs and requirements documentation

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, and policies

Utilize sound knowledge of contract management

Who You Are:

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field

NCMA certification such as CPCM or CFCM is preferred

3+ years of experience in contract management or a related field

Interpersonal communication – must communicate effectively to secure long-term, beneficial contracts

Writing skills – must write clearly and concisely, using proper legal and industry terminology while adhering to contract regulations

Attention to detail – must ensure accurate contract terms and compliance with regulations

Negotiation skills – must be able to engage in dialogue with other parties to reach an agreement on terms
