bilingual, passionate and dynamic individual to join our team. This position
offers a unique opportunity to guide and mentor aspiring entrepreneurs and
other individuals through comprehensive programming aimed at eliminating
economic barriers faced by individuals in Southeast Colorado Springs.Responsibilities:
Facilitation of Classes: Lead/teach engaging and informative sessions
covering various aspects of entrepreneurship, business development,
ideation, market analysis, financial planning, pitching, and other
relevant top
Mentorship and Guidance: Provide personalized mentorship and case management
to participants offering insights, feedback, and guidance to help refine
their business concepts and strategies.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the refinement of program
curriculum, ensuring its relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with
industry trends, best practices, and the needs of the community we serve.
Ensure all curriculum utilized in Spanish programming is translated properly.
Resource Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
to provide access to resources, connections, and tools beneficial for the
participants' entrepreneurial journey.
Evaluation and Feedback: Assess participant progress, deliver constructive
feedback, and track milestones to ensure program objectives are met
effectively
Tracking for Accountability Purposes: tracking of class attendance,
homework completion, and use of partners.
Marketing: Utilize different marketing channels to engage with the Spanish
speaking community to help ensure we have proper engagement for all programs.
Ensure all marketing materials are available in the Spanish language.
Administrative: Manage all Spanish program inquiries, selection process,
and facilitators or other volunteers for the Spanish programs. Serve as a
translator for any Spanish speaking individuals wanting to take career
certifications.
Translation: Assisting in translations on marketing materials,
documents, and curriculum as needed.
Representation: Attend events on behalf of Thrive to hand out marketing
materials and talk about the program.
Collective Responsibilities:
Collaborate and meet regularly with the Operations Coordinator and Executive
Director.
Collaboratively work on special projects, as needed.
Co-plan events for the Spanish speaking participants, like Pitch Night and
vendor opportunities.
Represent Thrive in the community to coordinate the necessary support needed
to provide successful programs and services.
Qualifications:
Entrepreneurial Experience: Demonstrated experience in entrepreneurship,
startup management, or business development, preferably having founded or
played a key role in scaling a business.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in business,
entrepreneurship, management, or a related field or equivalent experience
is preferred.
Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to conduct interactive workshops,
facilitate discussions, and deliver engaging presentations to diverse
audiences
Mentorship and Coaching: Strong mentorship and coaching abilities with a
passion for guiding emerging entrepreneurs towards success.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
adept at conveying complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Adaptability and Collaboration: Ability to adapt to changing program
needs, collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, and engage
with external partners.
Bilingual: Ability to read and write Spanish fluently.
Team Player: Ability to work well with a team of staff, even in a Hybrid
work environment.
Mission Driven: Deeply committed to the mission, values, and goals of
the organization.
Self-Starter: Must be able to problem solve and be comfortable working
independently with attention to detail. Must have the judgment to seek
supervision and/or input from others when necessary.
Ability to be highly effective in time management skills and task

Flexible Schedule: Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule.
Potential Schedule and Curriculum (subject to change): The attached
schedule shows the days and times for classes that will be facilitated in
2025. In addition, a weekly meeting is held on Mondays from 12-4pm and
classroom hours are offered prior to class on Thursdays. All other hours
will be hybrid and can be accomplished at home or may include events in the
comPay: $19.00/hrBenefits: State mandated Sick Pay accrued at 1 hour per every 30 hours
