Description Robert Half has partnered with a manufacturing company in Broomfield in search of an Accounting Manager! The Accounting Manager position is paying $80,000-$100,000 and offer a generous benefits package!The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the following:
Operational accounting including oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, closing of books, and general ledger functions
Support and coordinate with operations all aspects of Bill of Materials costing, inventory management, and Cost of Goods Sold reporting and analysis
Oversee all aspects of month end close and general ledger functions
Implement processes to ensure accounting results are completed timely and accurately
Support a strong internal control system that safeguards Company assets and is in compliance with best practices
Prepare the monthly financial statements and a monthly financial reporting package including all group reporting requirements
Assist on the annual year-end external financial audit and coordinate with and provide information to the public accounting firm
Requirements for the Accounting Manager include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of accounting experience
Cost accounting experience
Manufacturing accounting experience
Sage 50/Peachtree experience is nice to have, but not required
