Job description

Our company provides consulting and project management services offering creative, cutting edge solutions to complex environmental problems. Principal clients range from regional to large multi-national mining, energy and petro-chemical companies. We provide our private sector client base with time and mission-critical environmental permitting, geochemical and hydrogeologic characterization and modeling, environmental impact analysis and litigation support.

Part of the Admin team, the Operations Support and Billing Specialist assists the Operations Manager in maintaining smooth workflow day to day in the office. Primary responsibilities include the monthly invoicing process, expenses, and office management/administrative functions as well as working alongside the technical team to serve our clients. This role requires professionalism, exceptional communication, organization, and a desire to provide excellent service to colleagues and clients alike.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· Office suite literate – must have intermediate Excel skills

· Typing skills 50 WPM; 10-key proficiency

· Enjoys working with numbers

· Excellent spelling and writing skills; professional email composition

· Excellent attention to detail

· Well-organized in all aspects of work

· Experience with invoicing preferred

· Interested in learning new software/cloud platforms

· Positive, can-do, go-getter attitude

· Logical and analytical thinking

· Process-oriented; continuous improvement mindset

· Largely self-managed and driven to accomplish tasks

· Minimum 2 years related experience

Responsibilities

· Invoicing

o Master client invoicing platforms

o Utilize the Upland platform for invoicing process

o Enter expenses/create expense reports

o Timesheet management

· Office management including supply reordering, petty cash, mail distribution, etc.

· Project support including set up, document creation, budget review, etc.

· Client support

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
