Lyons Sandstone is looking for a sales and customer relations assistant.
This position will entail lots of learning on your part. Expect to spend a large amount of time being trained in how to do the job especially at first. Training will be expected to be a part of your day for much if not all of the first year.
This position is responsible for answering phones and responding to some emails where possible and otherwise forwarding communication on to the correct person. You will grow to be the primary liaison between the company and our customers on simpler and/or smaller orders. This will include but not be limited to,
-Quoting projects and orders
-Answering questions over the phone and via email
-Communicating lead times
-Sending invoices
You will assist the head of sales in the pricing and processing of larger orders.
This position will use our enterprise software to process orders and communicate with customers and the production side of operations throughout the order and production process
As a part of the sales portion of the position you will be expected to learn our product line and regularly walk the yard to keep a general idea of inventory.
Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-assembling and sending sample sets as needed.
-setting up and coordinating visits and tours by our client.
-assist with coordinating shipping with the Client and truckers
-assisting with payroll / and other duties as necessary and able.
This is a position that will grow with your abilities and as you learn more about the company, our product line and our production facilities. You will be expected to learn the characteristics of different stones and means of production, in order to communicate effectively with customers and to match their needs with our products and abilities.
Requirements:
-Fast and comfortable with computers
-Willingness to learn and engage both in the office and outdoors in the field with customers and production workers.
-Flexibility
-Some spanish
Useful skills:
-Bilingual English:Spanish.
-Familiarity with google suite including email, sheets, and Docs.
-Familiarity with macs
