Work Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday through Saturday
Starting Pay Range - $18-$22 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits.
Job Description:
Assists Site Supervisors with the following:
A. Planning for Construction for Habitat Homes
● Assure that Habitat has the necessary tools for construction and that they are well maintained
● Coordinating daily work plan with Site Supervisor
● Attend Construction Meetings as required
B. Management of Materials & Tools
● Inventory & check quality of materials delivered to site
● Organize and protect materials and tools on site
● Ensure tools are in working order and properly stored at the end of the day
C. Supervise Volunteers
● Work alongside and teach volunteers how to complete the necessary construction tasks
● Involve the future homeowners in the construction process; team with regular volunteers
● Assure that all work done is high quality and completed in a timely manner
● Clean up materials, tools, and the site daily.
● Monitor day-to-day, site safety and ensure that the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety Act are enforced
This is a full time (40 hours per week) position that will require flexibility in scheduling. The employee might work on different projects during any given week depending on where the assistance is needed.
