Project Umami is hiring a full-time Food Production Worker to produce & package food products. Project Umami is a small food products manufacturer based in Boulder, CO. We produce natural whole-food ingredient plant-based products and specialize in soy-free tempeh made using traditional fermentation methods.
Food Production Worker will work at the company facility located at 2430 30th Street, Boulder.
Responsibilities — Main Ingredients:
Produce company tempeh & miso products
Clean the production facility daily
Assist in completion of production paperwork
Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Qualifications — Recipe for Success:
Previous experience in food manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions is required
Ability to communicate effectively is required
Ability to obtain certification in food is required
Good attention to detail; communication, accuracy and thoroughness is a must
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in food production preferred
Must be able to maintain product flow on multiple lines
Ability to work with others in a fast-paced team environment
Must be reliable and on time every day
Able to work in seasonally warm or cool environment
Compensation: $18-22 / hour.
