Lyons Sandstone is a quickly growing stone quarry and fabrication company. Our tools and equipment run the gambit from basic hammers and wedges to cutting edge (pun intended) stone saws. We have some of the most advanced stone cutting and handling equipment in the nation. We use that equipment to produce material for high profile and unique projects across the state and nation. You have almost certainly interacted with one our projects in your time in Colorado.
Your job will be to work with the head of production and others to develop and execute production plans for each project. You will then be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of those plans by facilitating communication, verifying quality, and cutting and moving stone with equipment.
This job involves both computer and organizational work as well as physical labor.
Duties will include but not be limited to aiding in the development of production plans, communicating the plan to the individual operators and/or teams, data entry and documentation, and provide support for any fabrication needs. This position must follow projects throughout the process to ensure quality and timeliness are held to company standards.
