Job Title: Shipping/Receiving CoordinatorDepartment: Shipping & ReceivingReports to: Supply Chain ManagerSupervises:Grade:Salary Range:FLSA Status (U.S.only): Non - ExemptPosition InformationEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinates activities of the shipping/receiving. Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, assembles. Enters, maintains, and reconciles inventory transactions to ensure accuracy. Tracks lot control numbers and auditing.

Responsible for the accurate receipt of all incoming materials and packaging into ERP.

Complete all required documentation neatly and legibly. Prepare final paperwork for shipments and ensure completeness and accuracy. Package finished goods shipping to customers.

Ship finished goods to customer.

Thoroughly clean and package finished and inspected parts according to customer specifications.

When necessary, prepare product shipping labels utilizing a computer and ensure all required information is on packing slips.

Receive raw material into stock.

Perform cycle counts on finished goods and raw material on a scheduled basis.

Track discrepant material, finished goods, and components until final disposition is made. Work with Production Control to rectify manufacturing orders.

Cross train in all aspects of shipping and warehousing.

Operate forklift for loading and unloading freight.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualification RequirementsEducational/Training Requirement:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Experience:

3-5 years related manufacturing / shipping & receiving and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experienced with computerized inventory systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to use a PC to enter data and look up data, and/or print labels.

Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Able to organize effectively, and complete all paperwork accurately.

Ability to communicate effectively with others and work well under pressure.

Ability to read and follow written procedures.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously.

Ability to read fine print.

Excellent data entry skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and exercise judgment

Licenses/Certifications:

Must be able to become certified and maintain certification for using and OSHA approved forklift.

Mental Requirements:The work environment is representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be required to stand. The employee could frequently be required to walk; use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee could be required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee could occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job could include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
