Description We are on the lookout for a Tax Preparer to join our team. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the financial services industry, based in Walnut Creek, California. As a Tax Preparer, you will primarily focus on preparing intricate individual tax returns for clients with high net worth, using Lacerte Tax Software. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, analyzing financial documents, and identifying potential tax-saving strategies for clients.Responsibilities Prepare intricate individual tax returns (Form 1040) for high-net-worth clients using Lacerte Tax Software Adhere to all federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure compliance Examine financial documents such as K-1s, investment statements, and real estate holdings Pinpoint potential tax-saving opportunities and strategies to benefit clients Efficiently utilize Lacerte Tax Software for accurate tax return preparation Engage with clients to collect necessary information and resolve discrepancies Uphold strict deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality Provide exceptional customer service and data entry support Manage accounting functions and allowances efficiently and effectively.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Lacerte Strong knowledge in Accounting Functions Understanding of Allowances in tax preparation Excellent Customer Service skills Proficient in Data Entry tasks Solid understanding of Deductible in tax preparationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
