Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Vista, California. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks in a bustling office environment. The Office Assistant will support various company projects, handle data entry, undertake light accounting tasks, manage assets, assist with purchasing, and oversee inventory and database management. Responsibilities: Support the Office Manager in executing various company projects Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency Undertake light accounting duties as needed Manage company assets and keep records up to date Assist with purchasing tasks and coordinate with vendors Manage inventory and ensure database is updated regularly Set up new vendors in the system and maintain good vendor relationships Handle accounts receivable calls, collections, and follow-ups Generate reconciliation reports and address discrepancies Implement feedback and changes when appropriate and review work for errorsSkills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word Understanding of Office Functions and Billing Functions Ability to perform Clerical Duties and handle Correspondence Excellent Customer Service skills Knowledge of 'About Time' software would be an advantageRequirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office assistant role or similar administrative position Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word Understanding of office functions and billing procedures Familiarity with 'About Time' software Ability to perform clerical duties efficiently Experience in handling correspondence and maintaining accurate records Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on professionalism and helpfulness Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
