Responsibilities:
Greet visitors and assist with inquiries in a friendly and professional manner Manage incoming calls and emails, providing helpful information and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
Process adoption applications and assist with the adoption process Maintain accurate records of animal intake, adoptions, and other pertinent information Assist with scheduling appointments for veterinary care and other services.
Coordinate volunteers and assist with volunteer orientation as needed Support fundraising and outreach efforts as directed by management.
Qualifications:
Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to our shelter's mission Excellent communication and customer service skills Computer proficiency with PC platforms, as well as Microsoft Office and Google Drive; ability to adapt to/learn ‘Pet Point’ software Must be able to answer and respond to busy phone lines Experience working in a front office or customer service role preferred.
