We are looking for a patient, friendly, social care-giver to help my mom take care of my 83-year-old Father who suffers from Dementia and Alzheimer's. We are looking for someone who can live in the house with them, free room is a perk and incentive. We are flexible with the days/times and hours you will support with care. We are looking for someone with previous experience who understands the struggles of dementia patients and can exhibit a cool and friendly attitude. My father is a friendly guy who enjoys being social, playing cards, playing backgammon, and going on walks.
We are only interested in applicants who are willing to live in the residence, to give us more comfort in an additional person being in the house for any emergency. No couples, animals, or overnight guests will be permitted. Also, we are willing to negotiate a 5-night stay instead of 7 if that is better for the applicant.
Job responsibilities:
-Taking clients on walks
-Assistance with daily living activities
-Light housekeeping
-Engaging with games, conversation, and companionship
-Medication Reminders
-Female preferred
Must pass a live scan fingerprint & background check & have a California driver's license.
Caregivers should be compassionate, trustworthy, and looking for a long-term situation
Compensation is negotiable however depends on experience.
