In this role you will provide the vision, strategic direction and leadership for the Universal Studios Hollywood Sales division.  Your primary focus will be to maximize revenue and profit opportunities at Universal Studios Hollywood via proper development and implementation of effective sales strategies that align with the overall goals for new and existing businesses.  You will also work collaboratively to align the priorities to the larger Universal Destinations and Experiences (UDX) Sales initiatives.Provide a vision for the evolution of our Sales programs in alignment with our overall UDX strategies and provide strategic leadership to achieve both short and long term sales goals to grow overall USH profit.Oversee the development of effective sales programs that optimize profit for all Sales departments including Specialty Markets, Domestic and International Sales, Youth Sales, Meetings and Events, and the Group/VIP Call Center.Inspire exceptional sales performance and develop inspirational Sales leaders through effective skills development, coaching and feedback.   Mentor, coach and hold current sales team accountable for high levels of performance.Ensure a discipline of ongoing program evaluation and measurement is in place to ensure continuous improvement and strong fiscal responsibility.  Create an atmosphere for constructive evaluations (pro or con) of current revenue generating programsFoster an inclusive work environment that openly and honestly engages all team members to bring forth new ideas for revenue generation. Demonstrate proactive support for all Diversity Lead Initiatives.Contribute to the broader business dialog as a key strategic partner in determining future company growth opportunities and challenges.  Provide proactive, practical suggestions outside sales span of controlRepresent the interests of Universal Destinations and Experiences in key Tourism Associations and Organizations.Set the overall resort sales strategy for USH and Universal CityWalk to assure demand generation such that the financial plan is met through a combination of price, product, promotion, and distribution initiatives. Partner closely with the resort revenue management function to optimize revenue opportunities through pricing and control measures, contributing to the overall success of USH and Universal CityWalk.Drive the creation of new programs that support the Travel Industry, Meetings and Events, and direct to consumer sales efforts of USH and Universal CityWalk and special events.Anticipate future changes in demand and adjust strategies accordingly. Keep abreast of economic and political conditions and trends that may impact future demand.Maintain strong TSAT results while growing successors and ensuring the support and priority of diversifying the Team’s backgrounds and perspectives.
