What You'll Do:
Estimate costs for traffic equipment needed for construction, maintenance, and public safety projects.
Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine equipment needs.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure accurate cost projections.
Prepare detailed cost reports, budgets, and quotes for traffic control systems, signals, signage, and related equipment.
Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and new technologies related to traffic management.
Provide valuable input for project planning and execution to ensure efficiency and safety.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Traffic Equipment Estimator or in a related field (construction, traffic control, infrastructure).
Strong knowledge of traffic control equipment, road safety standards, and construction practices.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
Proficiency in estimating software, Excel, and project management tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
