Commercial Roofing Estimator
Job Type: Full-time
What You’ll Do:
Conduct detailed on-site inspections for commercial roofing projects
Prepare accurate, comprehensive bids and estimates for commercial roofing systems. Experience with TPO, PVCEPDM, metal, restoration coatings (acrylic and silicone) and spray foam is a plus. and other roofing systems
Review blueprints, technical specifications, and project requirements
Use on-screen takeoff or a similar technology to quantify bids.
Collaborate with contractors, architects, and project managers to ensure scope alignment
Identify potential project challenges and offer value-engineering solutions
Track bids, deadlines, and opportunities within CRM software
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedure
Oversee all aspects of commercial roofing projects, from planning to completion
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure goals are met
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and crews to align expectations
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality standards
Prepare project reports, schedules, and updates for stakeholders
Proactively identify risks and implement solutions to avoid delays and cost overruns
Ensure all work meets safety regulations, building codes, and contract requirements
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in commercial roofing or construction estimating
In-depth knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and building codes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in estimating and project management software (e.g., Bluebeam, EDGE, etc.)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Must be willing to Travel
Must be able to cross train
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits / state to state.
