Ready Mix Sales Manager

The Ready-Mix Sales Manager plays a critical role in the sales team driving all aspects of the selling and marketing process. This role will be responsible for developing long term relationships and winning new business.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Understanding of batch plant operations, batch controls, dispatch, and plant production systems.
Developing growth strategies to generate profitable sales.
Identifying prospective customer needs and new sales opportunities.
Customer service, public speaking and presentation skills.
Providing customers technical information about products and services.
Preparing proposals, quotes, contracts, or presentations for potential ready-mix customers.
Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and
deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Developing marketing or strategic plans for sales territories.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
3 plus years of experience in outside construction sales.
1 plus years of experience in the ready mix or aggregate industry.
3 years of experience managing a sales crew.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel.
Solid knowledge of Command software.
