The Locke Management Corporation (LMC) is a California nonprofit corporation that was established in 2003 to improve and promote the economic well-being, preserve the cultural and historical integrity, and manage the Town of Locke. The LMC is responsible for the property maintenance of the common areas, which includes main street, and the roads leading to the community gardens and other common space. The LMC collects assessments from 31 property owners and residents for the 50 structures in Town.
LMC is seeking to hire a Property Manager (PM) with basic knowledge of Real Estate principles and Property Management skills to oversee the property management activities for the Town.
The Town’s governing documents are: 1) Corporation Bylaws, 2) Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions and 3) the Davis-Stirling Act.
The PM will work closely with the LMC board with adhering to governing documents, including Brown Act and applicable Federal and State requirements.
