We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and creative individual who has a love for learning, a passion for working with elementary-aged children, and an appreciation for the outdoors.
We currently have an opening in our Lower Elementary (Grades 1–3). Prior experience in a Montessori elementary classroom is preferred. However, we also welcome applicants who are new to Montessori and open to pursuing Montessori training. In-house guidance and support will be provided by our experienced team.

Roles & Responsibilities
Supporting the Children, Lead Teacher & Classroom Environment
Assist in creating a safe, clean, and orderly Montessori classroom (indoor & outdoor) that supports a rigorous, engaging academic program.
Maintain the classroom environment: keep supplies stocked, perform daily cleaning tasks, prep materials, and ensure overall tidiness.
Uphold Montessori principles in alignment with school practices under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
Provide active “classroom overview” to support lesson delivery and child observation by the Lead Teacher.
Supervise children, offer redirection and support to foster independence, concentration, and safety.
Build strong relationships with students, nurture curiosity, and promote equity, inclusion, and belonging for every child.
Support students’ progression through the curriculum with individualized strategies when appropriate.
Assist with daily routines and transitions (arrival/dismissal, lunch, playground).
This school year, we are excited to introduce a new hands-on enrichment program designed to engage students in art, cooking, science, gardening, and Spanish. Support Teachers will assist the Director with the implementation of this program, helping to create meaningful, experiential learning opportunities for students. Qualifications Experience & Professional Background
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with elementary-aged children in an academic setting (preferred).
Experience working in a Montessori elementary classroom (preferred or be willing to enroll in Montessori training)
Strong command of elementary-level math and language arts.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
