United Staffing has partnered with a reputable and dynamic CPA firm dedicated to providing high-quality financial services to North San Luis Obispo County in their search for a part-time (full-time will be considered) Full Charge Bookkeeper. Great opportunity for someone to keep their accounting skills sharp without working full time.
Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, bill payments, and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transaction
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Process tax returns and 1099 forms
File occupancy tax filings
Maintain a thorough understanding of accounting principles and stay up to date on relevant changes
Bi-weekly payroll processing including garnishments, vacation, adjusted payroll, and final checks.
Answer telephones and assist walk-in customers
Assist with cleaning and organization of office
Requirements:
Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and online
Proficient in Excel and Word
Minimum of 2 yrs. full cycle payroll experience
Minimum of 3 yrs. Bookkeeping experience
College degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Pay: $25-$30/hr. DOE
