Established residential remodeling company with office in Oakland is looking for a journeyman carpenter. The company takes on a variety of work from large high end remodels, to kitchens to decks.
We work in the East Bay, primarily Berkeley, Oakland, Piedmont, Orinda, Albany.
Ideal attributes:
-versatile: we do many different kinds of work from forming to finish
- works comfortably under supervision of lead carpenter
- can read plans to one degree or another
- can frame cleanly and accurately and knows how to deal with out of level and out of plumb conditions.
- has good finish skills and can do stain grade work if required.
- is organized and helps the job move forward
- deals professionally and effectively with clients when necessary
We generally hirer for the long term and intend to provide 40 hours of work per week.
