The primary function of the Residential Construction Handyman is to support company projects by means of driving materials to/from jobsites, performing general rough/finish carpentry, and overseeing subcontracted work while working in various high end residences.
These tasks include but are not limited to the following:
Service and Maintenance: Complete tasks and supervise work occurring in homes by others. Examples include installing a baby gate, installing protection, cleaning out roof drains, general rough and finish carpentry and supervising subcontracted work
Work closely with project Superintendents and promptly deliver tools, materials, equipment when requested
Load debris from jobsites and drop off at the dump
Maintain company owned tools: Replace or repair as-needed
Organize and on a monthly basis inventory all company owned equipment and tools
Professionally interact with Homeowners
Keep a very clean and organized jobsite
Have a clean and polished appearance
Clearly communicate and have the ability to photo document and email to colleagues
Keep all receipts organized and itemized
Requirements:
2+ years of relevant experience
General knowledge of construction tools and equipment
Carpentry experience (rough and finish) working in high end residences
Valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Proficient at driving in San Francisco
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
