Handyman for Contract Work (East Bay)
We're a fast-growing property management company in the East Bay, seeking a skilled and reliable handyman for ongoing property maintenance. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual who wants consistent contract work.
This is a contract position, not full-time employment. We'll start you with a few work orders to assess your skill and reliability. If you do good work and finish on time, we'll send more jobs your way, including the potential for full unit turns (painting, repairs, and clean-up) when units go vacant.
Pay is based on skill and the scope of work. For handymen with their own insurance and/or a small crew, pay is subject to increase.
Your Responsibilities:
Complete a wide range of repairs in rental units.
Communicate directly and professionally with tenants to schedule appointments.
Complete all assigned work orders promptly.
Handle full unit turns (painting, repairs, and clean-up) for vacant properties, if you're a good fit.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in property maintenance or a related field.
Strong communication skills.
The ability to manage your own schedule and workload.
(A plus) Residency in the East Bay and fluency in Spanish.
