National Building Inspectors (NBI) is a well-established and highly respected real estate inspection company serving all nine Bay Area counties. We are currently seeking a motivated Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level professional with a basic understanding of construction and a strong work ethic who is ready to gain hands-on experience in the field.
You’ll receive paid training from seasoned professionals and develop a solid foundation for a career in property inspections. This apprenticeship is designed to prepare you for advancement within the industry, supporting both residential and commercial property evaluations, including structural pest inspections.
What You'll Do:
Assist inspectors with on-site evaluations of residential and commercial properties
Learn how to identify key structural, electrical, plumbing, and safety issues
Support with photo documentation, report writing, and file management
Help maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean working order
Participate in paid training to grow your skills and knowledge in the industry
What We’re Looking For:
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Working knowledge of construction methods, tools, and terminology
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, email, and file uploads
Willingness to learn and grow in a professional setting
Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and punctuality
