This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining apartment units for residents by completing unit turns, addressing work orders, and ensuring all maintenance and repairs are completed to a high standard. This position also requires performance of maintenance tasks and leasing as they come up throughout a 200+ unit multifamily portfolio in the East Bay area.
TASKS:
Complete tasks to prepare units for move-in, including repairs, cleaning, painting, and installations.
Review and resolve maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
Inspect units to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Report any property damage, safety hazards, or required major repairs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must speak Spanish fluently
Must live in the East Bay area (close proximity to Walnut Creek/Concord a plus)
Previous maintenance, handyman, or makeready experience preferred
Must have a truck with valid Drivers License and valid proof of insurance
Must have your own tools to perform general repairs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Reliable transportation to travel between Concord and Hayward
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday (or another applicable 5 day work week schedule)
PAY:
-$20-25/hr depending on experience
-Leasing bonus for each apartment rented
