Senior Software Engineer (Wage Offer: $206,315/yr): Design and develop computer applications that allow users to conduct specific tasks in augmented reality vision care platform. Design and develop the underlying systems that run the devices or control networks for our product. Research, design, implement, and test brand-new user-facing product features having top-line business and performance impact. Build reusable iOS software components for interfacing with back-end platforms and ship iOS Apps currently available on the App Store. Implement custom native user interfaces using the latest iOS programming techniques. Develop mobile applications for AI-specialized software and tackle challenges to provide responsive and engaging customer experiences. Ensure user data is being handled securely and with care. Support multithreading programming and mobile memory management. Collaborate with product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for iOS.
Hybrid telecommuting permitted within 50 miles of San Carlos, CA office.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field. 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation.
SKILLS: Must have:
1. Experience with object-oriented software development.
2. Experience building iOS applications in Swift using UIKit.
3. Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
4. Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
5. Experience with machine learning, frontend, and backend design patterns and infrastructure, and Python.
