Fullstack Software Engineer (Wage Offer: $155,605/yr): Develop system architectures that combine Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology with software engineering, to benefit and deliver vision health benefits seamlessly to customers. Design and build backend software for AI-powered optometry platform. Perform systems management and integration functions. Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems as well as system administration issues and network concerns. Build secure, production-level, backend infrastructure to support frontend features and improve deployment infrastructure. Develop GraphQL APIs and optimize Django backend to support both Apple’s iOS and Android frontends, ensuring a feature parity alignment between the mobile applications and the web application of the e-commerce platform. Build manual and automated scripts detecting and rectifying inconsistency of price details on existing customer orders in MySQL, identify data issues, and reduce inconsistent data. Design and upgrade internal optometry lab tracker tool to improve order event metrics.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical engineering field.
SKILLS: Must have academic or industry experience with the following:
1. Experience with object-oriented programming.
2. Experience with code push tools (Bitbucket or Github).
3. Experience building secure, production-level, backend infrastructure.
4. Experience in web technologies including at least three of the following: ES6, React, Node, Redux, jQuery, Webpack, Babel, or SCSS.
5. Experience with frontend and backend design patterns and infrastructure, and Python.
6. Experience with data management and data system, including SQL and database design.
7. Experience with operating systems principles and troubleshooting with processes and threads.
8. Experience with machine learning.
