Ocusun, LLC, in Novato, CA seeks multiple Operations Research Analysts- Supply Demand Planner
Responsibilities: Responsible for overall inventory management, optimizing restocking strategies, formulating replenishment models, and forecasting sales metrics to align with Marketing campaign plans and ecommerce site growth. Duties include supporting the senior managers and decision makers; analyzing historical data to discover essential market insights and create campaign postmortem performance reports around product styles, pricing, and inventory level; presenting quarterly discontinue plans to management by analyzing low performing styles, setting up retirement benchmark, and recommending discount offering to balance the catalog assortment; developing and applying time and cost networks to discontinued items to plan, control, and review new products; designing the interface functions and transferring into understandable variables, explanation, and formula by collaborating with IT and China operation team to develop and optimize the internal ERP system; developing comprehensive data reports for assigned product categories as requested and presenting key takeaways to support future business decision-making, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all the production delivery timelines are aligned with upcoming Marketing campaigns; projecting status communicated to stakeholders with risks and dependencies highlighted; serving as data expert and center of operational excellence on how to understand the sales dashboard on Tableau and how to locate relevant product information in the internal ERP system; and other duties as assigned. Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S. but will report to headquarters in Novato, California.
Education: Master’s degree or higher in Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field.
Requirements: Academic Experience/Experience with supply chain management ERP systems, presenting report insights by using SQL to extract data and Tableau to create dynamic data charts; Knowledge of advanced Excel functions, including regression function, vlookup and pivot tables; and Coursework in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, and other related courses.
