Acara Solutions is looking for an Entry Level Lab Chemist in Fremont, CA.
Responsible for chemical sample preparation and analysis in multiple analytical techniques to support advanced engineering activities. The job duties include but not limited to operation and maintenance of ICPMS, IC, GCMS, TXRF, TDS and other analytical instruments, preparing reports, providing data and interacting/consulting with product development communities. Approximately 90% of role will be servicing workflow requests from product development engineers for sample preparation and analysis on instruments within your area.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Chemical Engineering
Hands on experience with operations of ICP-MS, IC, GCMS, etc.
Handling wet chemicals skills
Familiar with analytical equipment maintenance/troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Chemistry/Biochemistry/Chemical engineering education background is preferred
