About the Role:
As our Technology Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the technological infrastructure of our district. Under the guidance of the Superintendent or designee, you will research, plan, implement, and support a wide range of IT systems, ensuring our students, educators, and staff have access to secure, reliable, and cutting-edge technology.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the district’s IT strategy, ensuring seamless operation across all computing, networking, and data systems.
Prioritize cybersecurity best practices in system configuration and project planning.
Oversee Google Workspace, Student Information Systems (SIS), state data reporting systems, and other essential platforms.
Manage tech support operations, ensuring efficient ticket prioritization and problem resolution.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and district regulations related to IT and data security.
Drive technology upgrades, vendor partnerships, and E-rate initiatives to keep our infrastructure modern and cost-effective.
Provide professional development and training for staff on technology best practices.
Serve as the go-to tech expert at board meetings, school functions, and community events.
What You’ll Bring:
Strong relationship-building skills with staff, administrators, and vendors.
The ability to analyze and solve problems creatively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office, MacOS, iPadOS, and advanced Google Workspace functions.
A passion for enhancing technology in education!
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of IT experience
Valid California Driver’s License
