Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8AM-4:30PM
Work Location: In person - Industrial Hayward area
50% DRIVING/OUTDOORS 50% WAREHOUSE/INDOORS
TASKS AND RESPONSBILITIES
Open the warehouse and bring out work vehicles in a timely matter
Assess the current workload and manage time to complete tasks as needed
Material handling – repetitive bending, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting 50lb boxes
Pull stock and prepare deliveries for the day, ensure all paperwork is on hand
Check vehicles for safety, oil changes, tires etc. Voice concerns when maintenance is needed
Plan deliveries for the most efficient route, deliver equipment and parts per order accurately and safely
Friendly and personable demeanor with customers
Assist with order fulfillment in the warehouse for pick-ups and shipments
Assist with receiving, unloading trailers, verifying packing slips
Utilize manual pallet jack and fork-lift as needed; build and shrink-wrap pallets
Bring in and secure vehicles at the end of the day, close and secure all warehouse doors
Maintain a clean and organized work area
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Minimum 6 months of warehouse/order fulfillment experience
Forklift experience desired
Basic mechanical knowledge for operating picking and packing equipment
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a small team
Proficient in Outlook and Google Chrome preferred
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
Pass pre-employment background check and drug testing, if required
